LED’s were first discovered in the 1920’s although at the time much of this work was dismissed by the scientific community. Further development through the century lead to widespread usage of LED’s in everyday devices as warning lights or on/off indicators.

LEDs’ use little electricity and therefore lend themselves to larger displays than can be achieved with LCD. Some manufacturers claim the lifespan of LED’s to be between 100,000 and 1,000,000 hours, which approximately equates to between 10 and 100 years. These two factors are vital in outdoor signage that needs to be large for ease of viewing, and relatively low maintenance.

LED signboards are custom tailored to a particular site so sizes vary accordingly. They can also be wrapped around objects such as pillars as opposed to being completely flat. We are happy to review your sites and propose correct sizing and arrangement.
